The Social Area is the Opera San Francesco service that aims to help improve the wellbeing of people or families and make them as independent as possible. In this way OSF does not limit itself to meeting the basic needs of vulnerable people or people in economic or social difficulty but, as well as guaranteeing food, clothes and medical care, also offers a genuine path for change.

This takes place through personalised projects which, via a helping relationship, seek to solve the problems that have led to people falling into economic difficulty, losing their job or home, or breaking off family and social relationships. The service is run by a multidisciplinary team with different expertise to guarantee a comprehensive care programme.
